Getting Club Penguin Pins

Category: Club Penguin Cheats, Club Penguin Videos
Date published: July 2nd, 2009

What are Club Penguin Pins, and how do you get them? Club Penguin Pins are a free accessory obtained simply by finding them in the game. This is not always easy, as they are hidden throughout the game. They are displayed on a player’s penguin card and are collectible, and many players look to get all of them.

While other items such as clothing and igloo accessories are purchased with “coins” that each player wins playing games, pins are a free offering and finding and getting all of them is a common desire among players.

The Pins are all images of familiar objects, such as a beach ball, pizza slice, the sun, a butterfly, tent, vinyl record, and a rowboat. Many fan sites on the internet give clues, or cheats, on where to find the hidden pins. It is a challenge to find them, so players enjoy wearing them once they find them.

Sometimes the pin visually and thematically goes with its location. For example the vinyl record is in the nightclub, the anchor is in the cove, and the spider is in the cave. Others are not so direct. For example the jellyfish can be found in the ski lodge, the starfish is in the mine, and the shrimp is in the dance lounge.

Club Penguin members know the different between being a member and a non-member, and a big part of the difference is being able to purchase clothes and furniture and other items for your igloo. What about the harder to find items that aren’t seen in the catalog? Where do all the Club Penguins find these hard to find items?
Club Penguin gives each player coins when they play and win at games. These winnings translate into coins. Money won playing games can be used to purchase everything from clothing, costumes and wigs for parties and events, pets and pet accessories, and of course, igloos. Penguins live in igloos, and members are able to customize their living experience. You can upgrade to a larger igloo, or make improvements to the one you live in. You can even customize the furniture you have in your igloo.
Club Penguin has a large membership and many players have started their own websites dedicated to Club Penguin. Many publish cheats, including cheats on how to find hidden items for your igloo can be found. In the catalogs which get published monthly, items are sold but some are hidden such as Disco Balls, Wheelbarrows, Aquariums, Ice tables, and many others.

All of these are examples of information which are published online at various fan sites, and the information is generally called a “cheat”. These cheats are in many cases helpful, as a player may be stuck in a particular mission, or may not be finding what they really want in the game or catalog. Club Penguin Catalogs

Category: Club Penguin News
Date published: June 26th, 2009

Club Penguin catalogs can be found online so that Club Penguin members can find the latest and greatest buys for their igloos, their Puffles and their wardrobe. Many current and older catalogs can be seen at different fan sites and a lot of the clothes and items come back in style and availability, but some are discontinued. Wigs even have their own catalog, as well as pet items, costumes, sports clothing, music equipment, rare Rockhopper items, t-shirts, and more.
Many players look for things to collect and having the old catalogs available gives them a chance to see what they would like. As a member, buying things with money earned from playing games gives players a chance to customize their game and express themselves, either by the pets they keep, the clothes they were, or the igloo they customize. Igloos can even be replaced by larger igloos, giving you more room for friends and furniture.
In addition, many sites which have the catalog information also provide the cheats to find hidden items in the catalog. This Easter egg style navigation hides man items from most players’ views. Many new players benefit from the catalog cheats so they can have a richer experience doing their catalog shopping.

Date published: June 23rd, 2009

Club Penguin is a popular MMOG with many games and activities, and is designed for kids aged 6-14, but is a game that can be enjoyed by all. It is generally understood to be an easy game to navigate and play, and kids learn about money by earning coins playing games, and then buying items for themselves, such as clothing, costumes, pets called Puffles, and furniture for their igloo where they live.
Players are able to chat with each other. For those requiring more safety, there is an Ultimate Safe Chat mode, where players can speak only thru choosing phrases and words, not from typing. When in that mode, only other players in Ultimate Safe Mode can be seen by this player, insuring that no offensive chat could happen.

Many children find that learning about being social is easy in Club Penguin, as there are dances, parties, special events, and players even hold their own parties that they can invite friends to. In regular chat mode, friends can carry on a conversation while attending a party or while playing sports or games.
Some kids stay in contact with relatives, whether it be cousins, aunts and uncles, or grandparents, and can meet up with their family members and play and chat. For a fun, safe, light hearted gaming experience, anyone at any age can enjoy Club Penguin.

Like any other MMOG, Club Penguin has cheat sites for its players to find out more about the game. Some cheats are simple explanations for parts of a game that slow down or make finishing a game difficult. Some cheats give step by step instructions on how exactly to navigate to go through an entire experience. Many sites exist with this information, and this has become an accepted aspect to the gaming community. With Club Penguin there is a consideration that may not exist as much in other games.
Club Penguin is targeted to kids aged 6-14 and is a safe environment for kids to interact with each other. Kids play games and earn coins which they can later use to buy themselves furniture, clothing, pets, accessories, costumes, wigs, and many other items. There are cheats for getting and finding more money within the game, and some parents believe that this encourages children to cheat at obtaining money, which many parents are not happy with.
Still, other cheats which give kids more information about the game exist, which can result in less frustration with being stuck in one part of the game. Cheats are an accepted part of gaming culture, and Club Penguin is no exception.
